Cos Labory bought by Michel Reybier of Château Cos d’Estournel

Billionaire Michel Reybier, owner of Château Cos d'Estournel, second classified growth of the Médoc, in the Bordeaux vineyards, has just bought Château Cos Labory, Grand Cru Classé in 1855 in Saint-Estèphe in the Médoc vineyards. The château is made up of 35 hectares of vineyard and produces approximately 78,000 bottles. Michel Reybier is the owner of the Domaines Reybier hotel group, he was born in Lyon (France) and is one of the top 500 fortunes in France. This Lyon entrepreneur started in supermarkets and reigns over the pork industry with the brands Cochonou, Justin Bridou and Jambon Aoste (sold in 1996) with 19 factories in France and Europe employing 2,500 employees.
