The Domaines Artémis company, a wine company owned by French billionaire François Pinault, has just bought the Champagne Jacquesson house. François Pinault already holds the Premier Grand Cru Classé du Médoc Château Latour, Pauillac and Champagne Henriot. François Pinault also owns the Stade Rennais football club. The Jacquesson Champagne House, founded in 1798 in Dizy in Champagne, belonged to the Chiquet family who acquired it in 1974. Jacquesson produces 250,000 bottles of champagne per year.
