Clear and bright with an opaque violet core and thin violet rim, dense viscosity with staining of the tears.
Very alluring nose full of dark cherries, blackberry and cassis supported by sweet spicy hints of cinnamon, clove and crushed black pepper, floral grace of violet underneath, very fine roasted oak notes and a scent of woodland, still youthful nose but starts to develop and gain complexity.
Generous palate with great concentration and extract, expressive and sandy textured tannins and fresh acidity, the mid-palate is dense and full of dark sweet cherries, plums and cassis, very fine roasted oak note, dark chocolate and liquorice, persistent length with spicy scents of cinnamon and cumin and a graphite mineral note.
