Clear and bright with a moderately intense ruby core and light orange rim.
Warm and spicy nose showing a savoury character combined with ripe, sweet dark plums, blueberry and kirsch, floral scent of violet, dark dry spices like clove, cumin and nutmeg, hints of roasted coffee and dark chocolate.
Generous and rich with great concentration of flavour, intense but fine and tightly grained tannin and mild acidity. Midpalate has great density and volume with sweet-like and ripe dark cherries, plums and blackberry, plenty of spice and roasted wood underneath. Warming and spicy finish.
This is a very concentrated and full-bodied red wine showing generous ripeness of fruit, spiciness and fine oak influence. Perfect with hearty game dishes in dense and spicy sauces.
