These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of the classified ads service (the “Service”) offered on winebhm.com by Wine BHM Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales, registered number 14547171, with its registered office at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (“Wine BHM”).
In these Terms: the “Advertiser” is anyone who posts or attempts to post a listing; the “User” is anyone who browses listings, replies to a listing or creates a job alert; the “Listing” is the content published by the Advertiser; “Options” are the optional paid services described on the classified ads Pricing page; “Pro Premium Access” is the paid access described in the Pro Premium Access Terms.
Wine BHM provides Advertisers with a space to publish listings related to the wine & spirits sector: job offers, job seeker listings, winemaking equipment, estates, properties and franchises, professional services, stock clearance, business or share transfers, investor search and rare bottles.
Wine BHM acts solely as a hosting provider and technical intermediary. Wine BHM is not a party to any transaction between an Advertiser and a User.
The Advertiser confirms having read and accepted these Terms by ticking the dedicated box before posting any listing or ordering any Option. This acceptance is time-stamped and recorded by Wine BHM and constitutes proof. A User’s use of the Service (browsing, contacting, job alert) constitutes acceptance of the provisions that apply to them.
3.1 Posting a listing requires a Wine BHM account. Some categories are reserved for professional accounts; others are open to all members. The conditions for each category are shown on the Pricing page and when posting.
3.2 The Advertiser warrants that the information in their account and listing is accurate, and that they have the capacity and rights needed to publish it. They must not create several accounts to circumvent a rule of the Service.
3.3 The Advertiser is solely responsible for keeping their login details confidential and for all activity under their account.
4.1 Every listing is reviewed before publication. Wine BHM aims to process it within 48 working hours. This period is indicative and not guaranteed.
4.2 Any change to a published listing is reviewed again; the listing may be taken offline during that review.
4.3 Wine BHM may refuse, suspend or remove any listing it considers non-compliant with these Terms, the law, the expected quality of the platform or the interests of its users, without being required to give reasons beyond the information provided to the Advertiser by email or in their account.
4.4 Approval of a listing is not a guarantee of its accuracy, a recommendation, or a certification of the Advertiser or their products.
5.1 A listing is published for 60 days from the date it goes live.
5.2 It can be renewed free of charge from the Advertiser’s account, subject to continued compliance with these Terms. A reminder email is sent before expiry. A listing that is not renewed stops being visible when it expires.
5.3 Options last for the period shown on the Pricing page at the time of the order.
6.1 Listing categories may be free or paid. Current prices, including prices for Pro Premium members and the details of each Option (for example Multimedia Pack, Weekly Bump, Newsletter Push, Boost Pro), are those displayed on the Pricing page at the time of the order. Prices are in US dollars (USD) and exclude any taxes that may apply depending on the Advertiser’s country.
6.2 Members with a valid Pro Premium Access benefit from the discount shown on the Pricing page. Certain benefits (for example an allowance of included job offers) may apply; they are described on the Pricing page and may change for future orders.
6.3 Payment is made online by bank card through the secure provider Stripe at the time of the order. Wine BHM does not store card data. The order is confirmed by email.
6.4 Wine BHM may change its prices at any time. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order.
7.1 If a listing is refused by Wine BHM during the review, the Advertiser is informed of the reason. They may correct the listing and submit it again at no additional charge: the original order remains valid for the corrected listing. No refund is due because of a refusal.
7.2 Any paid order is final and non-refundable, including: a listing removed after publication for breach of these Terms, an Advertiser’s error in category or content, lack of replies or results, a listing deleted by the Advertiser, or an Option already activated.
7.3 The paid listings in this Service are aimed mainly at professionals. Where the Advertiser acts as a consumer and has a right of withdrawal, they expressly request immediate performance of the Service (review, publication and Options) from the time of the order and acknowledge that once the Service is fully performed they lose their right of withdrawal.

Job offers must describe a real position, offered by the employer or its representative, with no fee charged to the candidate.
9.1 The Advertiser is solely responsible for the content of their listing, the description and authenticity of what they offer, their prices, their authorisations and the proper performance of any transaction.
9.2 Alcohol. The Advertiser is solely responsible for complying with the laws applicable to the sale, advertising, import, export and shipping of alcoholic beverages (licences, buyer age verification, excise duties, local restrictions, transport). Wine BHM does not organise, facilitate or control any shipment.
9.3 Rare bottles and valuables. Wine BHM does not authenticate bottles, does not certify their origin, condition or value, and provides no escrow or guarantee of payment or delivery. Users must carry out their own checks before any transaction.
9.4 Wine BHM urges great caution: never pay a deposit or share banking details with someone you cannot identify, and report any suspicious listing.
9.5 The Advertiser indemnifies Wine BHM against any third-party claim related to their listing and bears the resulting costs and damages.
The Service allows contacting an Advertiser through internal messaging and, unless the Advertiser chooses otherwise, by displaying their phone number on request. The Advertiser agrees that these details may be shared with interested Users. Using these contact means for unsolicited prospecting, spam or reselling data is prohibited.
11.1 A User may create a job alert and receive, at the chosen frequency (daily or weekly), a summary email of published job offers. They can unsubscribe at any time from the listings page.
11.2 The processing of personal data is described in Wine BHM’s Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
The Advertiser retains ownership of the content they publish and warrants holding all rights in the texts, photos and trademarks used. They grant Wine BHM a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, technically adapt (resizing, formatting) and display the listing on winebhm.com, in its emails, newsletters and social media pages, for the publication and promotion period. The elements of the Service (brand, logos, structure, Wine BHM texts) remain the property of Wine BHM.
In the event of a breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, a well-founded report or a legal requirement, Wine BHM may, without notice, remove the listing, suspend or close the account, with no refund of sums already paid and without prejudice to any other remedy. The Advertiser may delete their listing at any time from their account, without refund.
14.1 The Service is provided “as is”. Wine BHM does not guarantee any number of views, contacts or replies, the conclusion of any transaction, or uninterrupted availability.
14.2 Wine BHM is not liable for content published by Advertisers, for exchanges between users, or for indirect losses (loss of revenue, customers or opportunity).
14.3 To the extent permitted by law, Wine BHM’s total liability to an Advertiser is limited to the amount actually paid by that Advertiser for the listing or Option concerned. Nothing excludes liability for gross negligence, fraud or personal injury.
14.4 Wine BHM is not liable for any failure caused by force majeure (network failure, cyberattack, authority decision, failure of a payment or hosting provider).
Wine BHM may amend these Terms. The applicable version is the one online at the time the listing is posted or the order is placed. Ongoing listings remain governed by the accepted version, unless required otherwise by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory rights a consumer has under the law of their country of residence. Before any action, the parties will try to settle the dispute amicably.
